GRANTSBORO - Ada Rice Fornes, 81, died Saturday, November 26 at Craven 
Regional Medical Center. 
A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 29 at Goose 
Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. John Steen officiating 
with burial in the church cemetery.  
She was a member of Reelsboro Christian Church.  
She is survived by her hus-band, Julius Fornes; four sons, Dennis Fornes 
of Grantsboro, Danny Fornes of Newport, Dale Fornes and Dudley Fornes, 
both of Grantsboro; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
