Obituary of Alfred Jackson Holton Sr ~ 2001

ARAPAHOE - Alfred Jackson Holton Sr, 76, died Friday at Craven Regional 
Medical Center.
He was a member of Bayboro Missionary Baptist Church and the Grantsboro 
Moose Lodge.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church
with the Rev Pascal Woodard and the Rev Mac Purifoy officiating.
Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Hilda Ireland Holton, four sons, Lee Holton of
Dawson Creek, Larry Holton and Jeffery Holton of Bayboro, and Billy Holton of
Merritt; one brother, David Holton of Yuba City, Ca; four sisters, Lucille 
Purifoy of Virginia Beach, Va., Gladys Cahoon of Grantsboro, Doris Goldman
of Monks Corner, SC and Carol Paul of Florence, SC; eight grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home
om Alliance and other times at the home of his son, Billy Holton, 1585 Alligator
Loop Road, Merritt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Reelsboro Pentecostal
Holiness Church Building Fund, 221 Neuse Road, New Bern NC 28560.
