Obituary of Alice Dixon Peterson ~ 2011

REELSBORO - Alice Dixon Peterson, 75, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at home.  
She was a member of Reelsboro Christian Church. She retired from Bank of 
America and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the beach.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Peterson.  
She is survived by two sons, Richard Peterson and wife, Olivia, of New 
Bern and Paul Peterson and wife, Anita, of Asheboro; sister, Nellie Phipps 
of Reelsboro; close friend, Earl Wright of Vanceboro; and six grandchildren, 
Richard C. Peterson, Mark Peterson, Elizabeth Peterson, John Peterson, 
Alicia Peterson and Justin Peterson.  
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, June 19, at Reelsboro 
Christian Church with Dr. Bob Cayton and the Rev. Riley Green officiating. 
Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill cemetery.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday night, at 
Bryant Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 5291 N.C. 55 E., 
Reelsboro.  
Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Crematory, Alliance.
