Obituary of Alma Whealton Carawan ~ 2008

Alma Whealton Carawan, 96, of Vandemere died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008.  
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara C. Alfred of Stonewall, Mona C.
Lupton of Kinston and Judy C. Foy of Jamestown, S.C.; three sons, Henry A. 
Carawan of Albertson, Barry K. Carawan of Alliance, and Russell Dale 
Carawan of Vandemere; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at Bryant Funeral 
Home Chapel with D.J. Maxey and Jason Kirkman officiating. 
A private burial in Bay Creek Christian Church Cemetery will follow. 
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the
funeral home until 4:30 p.m.
