Alva Feta Rowe, 83, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 17, 2003. 
She was born and lived her life in Lowland, North Carolina.  
Her last three years, she enjoyed in Britthaven Nursing Home in Alliance. 
Her life was one devoted to being a mother to her four children and a 
loving wife to the late Blain Sylvester Rowe.  
Her children are: Jesse Orvic Rowe of Snohomish, Washington, Samuel 
Langston Rowe of Juneau, Alaska, Blaney Rowe of Arapahoe, North Carolina 
and Feta Ann Webb of Port Richey, Florida. There are 11 grandchildren and 
seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Frances Bruce 
of Hudson Falls, New York.  
The family had a visitation on Sunday, July 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm at New 
Life Praise and Worship Ministries in Grantsboro, North Carolina.  
A graveside service was held Monday, July 21, 4 pm, in the Watson Cemetery 
in Lowland.  
Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by Bryant Funeral Home in 
Alliance, North Carolina.
