Obituary of Amber Lusk Ackerley ~ 2006

Amber Lusk Ackerley, 39, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2006, at her family home in 
Phoenix, Ariz.She was born in Phoenix but called Oriental, N.C., home for 
most of her adult life. She was a very loving and compassionate person who 
did everything she could to make everyone around her happy. She may be 
gone, but she'll never be forgotten.  A memorial service will be held at 
1:30 p.m. Saturday at Oriental Untied Methodist Church with Rev. Stan 
Brown officiating.  She is survived by one son, Athan Ackerley of 
Fayetteville; two daughters, Andrea Ackerley of Oriental and her children, 
Anthony and Ambria Ackerley, and Juanita Miller of Pamlico County; two 
sisters, Holly Jile and Rebel Lusk of Arizona; her mother, Shirley Moore; 
and her father, Donald Lusk.  The family will receive friends following 
the service in the church fellowship hall.
