Andrew Leon Paris Sr., 81, a retired audiovisual technician, died Dec. 28,
1992, in a hospital.
Mr. Paris was born in Oriental, N.C., and had retired from Tidewater Audio
Visual. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in
Norfolk; a life member and past president and treasurer of Crossroads
Lions Club; and a member of Moose Lodge (NU)39.
He was the widower of Inez Paris.
Survivors include a daughter, Lou P. Gay of Norfolk; two sons, A. Leon
Paris Jr. of Batavia, N.Y. and Gary Lee Paris of Virginia Beach; two
sisters, Ella Ewart of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Olga Fields of Greenville,
N.C.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown
Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Charles K. Blalock.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the
funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the
Crossroads Lions Club, c/o Gloria Spruill, 1846 E. Little Creek Road, Lot
10, Norfolk, Va. 23518.
