ARAPAHOE - Anne Spicer Souder, 57, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at Craven 
Regional Medical Center. 
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church.  
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 
Bethany Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Edge officiating.  
She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Spicer, and her husband, 
Ralph Souder, Sr.  
She is survived by three daughters, Tracy Cheatham and husband, Rich, of 
Sanford, Shirley Barnes and husband, Mike, of Bayboro and Katherine Cowen 
and husband, Gene, of Summerville, SC; her mother, Ruth Spicer of 
Chesapeake, VA; three stepsons, Ray Souder and wife, Melanie, of 
Williamsburg, VA, Ralph Souder Jr. and wife, Lynn, of Rockingham, and 
Tony Souder and wife, Rhonda, of Chattanooga, TN; one stepdaughter, Marie 
Walker, and husband, R.W., of Wilmington; one brother, Michael E. Spicer, 
of Moyock; six grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Shirley 
Barnes, 287 NC Hwy. 307, Bayboro.
