Adolph Augustus Sadler Sr., 74, of Chocowinity died Sunday in his home.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday at Paul Funeral Home with George H.
Murray IV officiating.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
A native of Pamlico County, he was the son of the late Augustus M. and
Theresa Swindell Sadler.
He was a retired seafood salesman, a member of Wanoca Presbyterian Church
and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Sadler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Cherry Sadler; a son, Adolph A.
Sadler, Jr. of Chocowinity; three daughters, Mrs. Harley (Toby) Furman,
Mrs. Geralf (Gladys) Roop and Mrs. Stephen (Betty) Boyd, all of
Chocowinity; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was the father of Theresia Sadler Sawyer, who died in 1979, and Alma
"Tootsie" Everett, who died in 1985.
The family will receive friends today from 7:30 to 8:30 pm at the funeral
home.
