Obituary of Barney B Harrell III ~ 2005

GRANTSBORO - Barney B. Harrell, III, 40, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 
at Craven Regional Medical Center.  
He worked with Point Pride Seafood and was an avid hunter. 
He attended New Song Church in New Bern.  
A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26 at 11:00 at 
Bethany Christian Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Gary Edge officiating 
with burial in the Paul Cemetery.  
The family is to receive friends at Bryant Funeral Home on Tuesday, 
October 25 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  
He is survived by his wife, Christina Harrell; two sons, Samuel Allen 
Harrell and Nicholas James Harrell of the home; parents, Barney and 
Margaret Harrell of Arapahoe; one brother, Blake Harrell of Jacksonville, 
FL; and maternal grandmother, Mildred Greene of Elm City.  
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alvis Greene and his 
paternal grandparents, Barney and Marjorie Harrell.
