Bennie Eldridge Ireland, 73, of Lowland died Monday, April 14, 2008, at 
Craven Regional Medical Center.  
He retired from PCS Phosphate and was a member of Wardens Grove Free Will 
Baptist Church.  
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Wardens Grove Free 
Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Nick Watson, the Rev. Terry Lewis, the 
Rev. John Carawan and the Rev. Doug Whitfield officiating. Interment will 
be in Lowland Community Cemetery.  
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; son, Doug Whitfield of Las Vegas; 
two brothers, Zool Ireland of Lowland and Dolan Ireland of Cove City; and 
two sisters, Ramona Willis of Goose Creek and Iola Leary of Lowland.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, at 
Bryant Funeral Home.
