Obituary of Walter "Bubba" John Banks ~ 2009

Walter "Bubba" John Banks, 59, of Arapahoe, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at
Craven Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter M. Banks of Arapahoe and 
Rita Banks of Chicago, and one brother, Stephen Banks.  
He is survived by his daughter, Candy B. Midyette, and husband Bryan, of 
Bairds Creek, one brother, James Banks and wife, Paula, of Bairds Creek, 
two sisters, Mary McCarthy of Chicago, Ill. and Susan Huba of Jacksonville,
Fla. and one granddaughter, Allison Caroline Midyette.  
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at Amity 
Christian Church, with the Rev. Lynn Maxwell officiating. Interment will 
follow in Sandhill Cemetery.   
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church 
fellowship hall.
