Obituary of Carl Kilmer ~ 2004

MERRITT - Carl Kilmer, 61, of 1229 Florence Road, died Saturday, January 
31, 2004 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. 
He was a retired police officer from New York and had served in the US 
Marine Corps. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge.  
He is survived by his wife, Karen “Karn” Kilmer; sons, Carl Kilmer, Jr. 
and Eric Kilmer and wife, Andrea, all of Albuquerque, NM, and Christopher 
Kilmer of the home; daughters, Christine Kilmer of New York and Heather 
Kilmer of the home; stepchildren, Tom Griffin, II of Dallas, TX and Deidre 
Ann Griffin of Los Lunas, NM; two sisters, Christine Garza and husband, 
Benjamin, of CA and Carol Farbman of New York; and grandchildren, Carly, 
Kevin and Briana Kilmer of Albuquerque.  He was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Katherine Kilmer.  
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 10 at 2:00 pm at Bryant 
Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
immediately following the service.
