Carl Ellis Mayo, 82, 2402 E. Griffin Ave., New Bern, N.C., died Saturday. 
Born in Mesic, N.C., he moved to New Bern from Florida. He was a retired 
apartment complex owner. He was a member of Broad Street Christian Church, 
New Bern. 
Survivors: daughter, Carla, Orlando; brother, George, Wilmington, N.C.; 
sisters, Daisy Mayo Willis, Washington, D.C., Iola Mayo Steziale, Sun 
City, Calif.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
