Obituary of Carolyn Alice Duryea Dorning ~ 2009

Carolyn Alice Duryea Dorning, 65, of Alliance died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009.
She was a member of Rock of Zion Free Will Baptist Church, where she was 
a member of the ladies' auxiliary and active in the youth program. 
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the DAV Auxiliary.  
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Harold "Hal" Dorning; two 
sons, Gary Dorning and his wife, Chris, of Chehalis, Washington, and 
Lenard Dorning, and his wife, Terri, of Centralia, Washington; four 
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Martin and 
her husband, Dennis, of Midland, Texas.  
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, at Rock 
of Zion F.W.B. Church with the Rev. Ray Lewis and the Rev. Mike Roach 
officiating.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Rock of Zion 
F.W.B. Church.
