Obituary of Carolyn Willis Price ~ 2006

ARAPAHOE - Carolyn W. Price, 77, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Craven 
Regional Medical Center. 
She was born April 7, 1929, daughter of the late Mark and Nellie Wise Willis.  
Mrs. Price was a lifelong member of Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church. She 
was a humble, sweet spirit that always had a smile, and was a beloved 
mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church with 
Rev. Tommy Bulla and Rev. Davie Cauley officiating. 
Burial will be in Rawls Cemetery.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 
years, Bert Price; a sister, Myrtle Hodges of Fayetteville; and a grandson,
Dennis Wayne Price.  
She is survived by two sons, Dennis G. Price and wife, Sonja, of Oriental, 
and Jerry M. Price and wife, Barbara, of Arapahoe; one daughter, Brenda P. 
Bennett and husband, Tommy, of New Bern; two brothers, Larry Willis and 
Billy Willis, both of New Bern; three sisters, Ardelia Hardy of 
Fayetteville, Mary Lee of Arapahoe, and Iris Cowell of Oriental; seven 
grandchildren, Laura, Tori, Brandy, Chase, Shawn, Trey and Cody; and four 
great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Brittney, Tiffany, and Chance.  
The family will receive friends at Bryant Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday, and at other times at her residence, 8333 N.C. 306 in Arapahoe.
