Obituary of Catherine Louise Green McCotter ~ 2008

ORIENTAL - Catherine Louise Green McCotter, 78, of 303 Janeiro Road died 
Wednesday Oct. 8, 2008, at her residence.  
She was a member of Holt's Chapel AME Zion Church and served as a choir 
and usher board member. She was formerly employed as a seafood processor 
with Fulcher Seafood.  
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Holt's Chapel 
AME Zion Church with the Rev. J. L. Walton officiating. Burial will follow 
in St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.  
She is survived by her son, Ralph McCotter of Tarboro; three daughters, 
Alief Louise Morris and Glenda Conway, both of Oriental, and Gladys 
McCarter of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Caesar Green of the Bronx, N.Y.; 
13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends at the residence. 
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.
