Obituary of Charles Anthony Gardner ~ 2011

Charles Anthony Gardner, 43, of Charlotte, formerly of the Keyestown 
Community, Grantsboro, died on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at CarolinaEast Medical 
Center.  
A graduate Pamlico County High School, he served in the United States Army 
and was a member of the Citadel of Life Cathedral.  
He is survived by his parents, Alfred Gardner Sr. and Joyce Moore Gardner; 
a daughter, Tavaura Jasmonique Gardner; two sons, DeAnthony Charles Isaigh 
Gardner and Desmon Ramere Gardner; one granddaughter; one brother, Alfred 
Gardner Jr.; and three sisters, Wanda Denise Dixon, Juanita Gardner Smith, 
and Rhonda Gardner McDaniels.  
The family will receive friends at the home of his parents at 719 Keyestown
Road, Grantsboro.  
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, Dec. 20 at the New Bern Eastern 
Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters Building with the Rev. Keith 
Cannon officiating.  
Arrangements are by Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., New Bern.
