Obituary of Charlie Jones ~ 1998

Hobucken- Charlie Jones, 90, of 14865 Highway 304 died Wednesday at Craven
Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Hobucken United Methodist Church and was a former 
Pamlico County Commissioner. He was a member of Goose Creek Island Ruritan
Club and Goose Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the church with the Rev Mack Styron
officiating.
Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Nell Jones, one son, Charles P Jones Sr of Key
West Fl.; one daughter, Sandra J Tripp of New Bern; seven grandchildren, 
seven great-grandchildren and one great-great granchild.
The family will recieve friends at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the Pamlico County Rescue Squad.
