ASHEBORO - Rev. Charlie William Miller, 62, of 2889 Pine Ct., died Tuesday,
Nov. 23, 1999, at Randolph Hospital.  
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at West Asheboro 
Baptist Church, conducted by Paul Trollinger. Burial will be in Oaklawn 
Cemetery.  
A native of Pamlico County, he was a graduate of Wake Forest University 
and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Miller was the 
Executive Director of Asheboro Housing Authority for 30 years and the 
minister of West Asheboro Baptist Church.  
Survivors are his wife, Doris G. Miller of Asheboro; daughter and 
son-in-law, Elizabeth Miller Boswell and Matthew Boswell of Asheboro; sons 
and daughters-in-law, Jonathan Marion Miller and Virginia Cox Miller, 
Charlie William Miller, Jr. and Lisa Miller, all of Asheboro; brother, 
Monnie Miller of Staley; sister, Marie Miller Josey of Greensboro; and 
three grandchildren.  
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at the Pugh 
Funeral Home, Asheboro.  
Memorials may be directed to West Asheboro Baptist Church, 8310 Uwharrie 
St., Asheboro, N.C. 27203
