BAYBORO - Ciniath Henries Mercer, 73, formerly of Lowland, died Sunday, 
Aug. 20, 2006, at Craven Regional Medical Center.  
She attended Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church.  
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church 
with Rev. Terry Lewis and Rev. Phillip Lewis officiating. Burial will be 
in Lowland Community Cemetery.  
She is survived by one son, Jerry Mercer of Bayboro; three daughters, 
Jackie McCotter and husband David of Oriental, Jo LoCicero and husband 
Danny of Wake Forest and Tara Belangia and husband Robbie of Arapahoe; 
two brothers, Etles Henries and Albin Henries; one sister, Gladys Shelton; 
and five grandchildren, Jon Mercer, Matthew LoCicero, Amanda Hancock, 
Ruark Belangia and Jennifer McCotter.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wiley Mercer; a son, John 
W. Mercer Jr.; parents, Alvin B. and Mary L. Henries; a sister, Cora 
Wiggins; and a brother, Alphonso Henries.  
The family will receive friends at Bryant Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
Tuesday.
