ARAPAHOE - David Sylvester Hudson, 82, of 3137 Don Lee Road, died Friday, 
March 25, 2011, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.  
He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, The Korean War and Vietnam
Conflict. His career continued as a federal police officer, insurance agent
and assistant manager of Rose's Clothing Store. He held the positions of 
usher, trustee, senior Sunday school teacher and parking attendant as a
member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.  
His funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Mt. Zion 
M.B. Church with the Rev. Jerlvine Collins officiating and the Rev. Keith 
Boomer, eulogist. The interment with military honors will be in Mt. Zion 
Church Cemetery.  
He is survived by his daughter, Anndreeze Hudson Williams; his son, David 
Leandree Hudson; and sister, Dorothy Hudson Webb.  
The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be held from 
noon to 6 p.m. Friday at the mortuary and at the church one hour prior to 
the service.
