Obituary of David Norman Pickell ~ 2010

GRANTSBORO - David Norman Pickell, 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at 
his home. 
He was retired from PCS Phosphate, served in the National Guard, was a 
commissioner for the Town of Grantsboro, and was a past member of the 
Antique Automobile Association of America. 
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Berry Pickell of 40 years; four 
brothers, Carl Howad Pickell Jr. and Lee Pickell, both of Elizabeth City, 
Billy Pickell of Tennessee, Charles Pickell of Grandy; and one sister, 
Debbie Pickell Sanders of Elizabeth City. 
His funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev. Dale Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Celestial 
Memorial Gardens in Vandemere. The family will receive friends one hour 
prior to the service.
