Obituary of Doris Briley Broughton ~ 2011

GRANTSBORO - Doris Briley Broughton, 82, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 
the Gardens of Pamlico.
She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Broughton, her brother, 
Nathan C. Briley and her parents, Nathan and Betty Briley.
She is survived by three daughters, Deloris Whitford of Croatan Village, 
Sharon Broome and husband, Al, of Reelsboro and Judy Berry and husband, 
Johnny, of Washington, N.C.; two sisters, Evelyn Miller of Bayboro and 
Betty Rawls of Washington, N.C.; five grandchildren; and eight 
great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Lakeside
Chapel in Greenleaf Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Roach officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the 
cemetery.  Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Crematory, Alliance.
