Obituary of Doris Brantley Haskins Vinci ~ 2010

GRANTSBORO - Doris Brantley Haskins Vinci, 82, went to be with our Lord on 
May 25, 2010.  
She retired from the Arapahoe Elementary School, where she was a teacher's 
assistant and bus driver for more than 20 years.  
She is survived by two daughters, Kandy Broughton and husband, Johnny 
Broughton, of Oriental, and Gay Rice and husband, Buddy Rice, of Minnesott 
Beach; one brother, Robert Nelson Haskins and wife, Jean Haskins, of New 
Bern; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
She leaves a legacy of love to everyone she ever knew.  
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 28, at Bryant Funeral Home 
Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Roach and the Rev. Ray Lewis officiating. 
Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Trenton.  
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
