Dorothy V. Luce, 77, of Merritt, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at Craven 
Regional Medical Center.  
She was a member of Oriental United Methodist Church.  
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Oriental United 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Graves officiating.  
She is survived by her husband, Chauncey Luce of the home; two sons, Ralph 
C. Luce of Flanders, N.Y., and Allen J. Luce of Riverhead, N.Y.; one 
daughter, Virginia McLaughlin of Raeford; one brother, Ralph Glover of 
Holtzville, N.Y.; one sister, Lorraine Zaveski of California; and five 
grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Oriental United 
Methodist Church.
