ALLIANCE - Dorothy Lupton Seaman, 81, of Gardens of Pamlico, died Friday, 
January 30, 2004 at Craven Regional Medical Center.  
A service was held Sunday, February 1, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Bryant Funeral 
Home in Alliance with the Rev. Jack Wolk officiating. Burial was in the 
Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Whortonsville.  
Survivors include one son, James Boyd Seaman, Jr. of Raleigh; one brother, 
James Lloyd Lupton, Jr. of Bayboro; one nephew, Bruce Lupton and wife, 
Diane, of Stonewall; five nieces, Amelia Spencer and husband, Tommy, of 
Grantsboro, Narona Desmond and husband, John, of Charlotte, Marcia Spencer 
and husband, Edward, of Alliance, Brenda Stephenson of New Bern and Paula 
Woodard and husband, Alan, of Bayboro; give great nephews; four great-great
nieces; and two great-great nephews.
