Duvall O. "Bunny" Powers, 71, of the Caswell Center, formerly of the 
Silverhill community, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Lenoir County 
Memorial Hospital. 
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at New 
Life Praise and Worship Center in Grantsboro with the Rev. Alan Hamm 
officiating.
He is survived by two brothers, Theodore Powers Jr. and Richard Powers, 
both of Silverhill, and three sisters, Judy Heath, Barbara Poole, and 
Willie Shaw, all of Silverhill. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bryant Funeral 
Home, P.O. Box 99, Alliance, N.C. 28509, to help defray funeral expenses.
