Edith Mae Shine Broughton, 91, of New Bern died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at 
Two Rivers Nursing Center.
She was a member of Reelsboro Christian Church and a member of Arapahoe 
Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Terri Broughton Stanley of Reelsboro and
Mary Ann Broughton Harrison of Alliance; 12 grandchildren; eight 
great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Bryant Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow 
in Greenleaf Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral 
home.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made to 
Bayboro United Methodist Women, P.O. Box 64, Bayboro, N.C. 28515.
