Elisabeth Guibert Thomas, 85, of Oriental, died Monday, August 17, 2009 at 
home.
She was a member of Montreat Presbyterian Church and a member of American 
Association University Women (AAUW).
She is survived by three sons: Glenn Thomas, Lew Thomas and Alan Thomas; 
two daughters: Elisabeth Thomas and Daphne Thomas; two brothers: Dr. 
Richard Coppedge and Dr. Walter Coppedge; 10 grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren.
The family will schedule services at a later date to be held at the family 
home in Montreat, NC.
