ARAPAHOE – Elizabeth McWhorter Hodges,79, of 2292 Don Lee Road, died 
Wednesday, April 14 at her home. 
A memorial service was held Monday, April 19, 11 am, at Christ Episcopal 
Church with the Rev. Canon Peter Stube, D. Div., officiating.  
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Bern.  
She is survived by two sons, C. Walker Hodges III of Wilson and David 
Vanstory Hodges of Florence; two daughters, Rebecca Hodges Armstrong of 
Arapahoe and Anne Hodges Evans of Oriental; one sister, Sarah Morris Jones 
of New Bern; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
