Elmira McKinney Schultz, 74, of the 600 block of Gladesdale Drive, died 
April 3, 1999, in a local hospital.  
She was born in Mesic, N.C., and was a member of Avalon Church of Christ 
in Virginia Beach.  
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth A. Schultz; two sons, Terry W. 
Schultz and his wife, Carolyn, of Eden, N.C., and Dale A. Schultz and his 
wife, Rebecca, of Chesapeake; her mother, Vertie W. McKinney of Alliance, 
N.C.; a brother, Albert T. McKinney of Mesic; four grandchildren, Karen 
Murdock, Kenneth Schultz, Kevin Schultz and Chad Schultz; three nieces; 
and three nephews.  
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great 
Bridge Chapel. The ministers are Jimmy Bennett and Terry Schultz. 
Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. 
today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Roanoke Bible 
College, Elizabeth City, N.C.
