Obituary of Elmo Frederick Midyette ~ 1990

Elmo Frederick Midyette, 70, of New Bern, died Monday at his residence.
He was retired from the US Army.
Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Friday at New Bern National Cemetery with
military honors.
He is survived by his widow, Bessie Broughton Midyette; four sons, Fred Midyette
of Orlando, Fla., Richard Midyette of Homestead, Fla., Les Midyette of Oklahoma 
City, Okla., Roy Midyette of the home; two daughters, Rachel Benton of Homestead,
Fla., Rene Willis of Goldsboro; three sisters, Martha Pesa of Ohio, Mary Shuler
of Maryland, Nina Billings of Palham; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Norris Funeral
Home, Alliance.
