Obituary of Ernest Boomer ~ 2010

ARAPAHOE - Ernest "Bobcat" Boomer, 62, a native of Arapahoe, died Saturday,
Nov. 13, 2010, at Carebridge Assisted Living Center in New Bern.  
Ernest was a lifetime member of Piney Grove Disciples of Christ Church.  
He is survived by one brother Arthur Boomer of Kinston; eight sisters, 
Emma Holton, Sarah Hackney, Mavis Nelson, Shirley Boomer, Isabelle Blango 
and Gladys Boomer, all of Arapahoe, Atlie Mae Richardson of Grantsboro and 
Leatha Johnson of Oriental.  
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, 
at Piney Grove Disciples of Christ Church, with the Rev. Lester Mitchell 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Disciples of Christ 
Church Cemetery.  
The family will receive friends at the residence of Isabelle Blango, 1616 
Don Lee Road, Arapahoe. Viewing will be at Oscar's Mortuary from 11 a.m.-6 
p.m. on Tuesday.
