Eula Mae D. Walker, 85, of Oriental died March 15, 2009, at Craven 
Regional Medical Center.
She taught in North Carolina public schools for 32 years. 
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wells Walker, and two 
brothers, Ben and Julius Dees.
She is survived by two brothers, Frank Dees and wife, Sharon, of 
California, and Charles W. Dees and wife, Glenda, of Bayboro; one sister, 
Joan Hanson and husband, Victor, of Michigan; two sisters in-law, Theresa 
Dees of New Bern and Ellen Dees of Greensboro; and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
No services have been planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richard Wells 
Walker Scholarship Fund, Inc. P.O. Box 585 Oriental, N.C. 28571.
