Obituary of Eva Gardner Holloway ~ 2011

NEW BERN - Eva Gardner Holloway, 81, 1601 Myrtle Ave., died Wednesday, 
June 1, 2011, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.  
She was a native of Arapahoe and a graduate of Pamlico Central High School.
Her favorite pastimes were fishing, crabbing and walking.  
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Oscar's Memorial 
Chapel with the Rev. R. E. Midgette Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in 
the Lee Cemetery.  
She is survived by her three daughters, Libbie Holloway Simmons, Estella H.
Lee and Eva H. Hall, all of New Bern; four sons, Wayne Holloway of Spring 
Hope, Roy Jackson Holloway, Steve A. Holloway and Rodney B. Holloway, all 
of New Bern; one sister, Mabel Borden of Oriental; eighteen grandchildren; 
twenty-five great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at 
Oscar's Mortuary.
