Fannie Carawan Selby, 82, of Chester, Va., died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at
her home.
She was born and raised in Lowland and retired from Allied Chemical
Chester Plant after 20-plus years of service.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral
Home, 214 N. 6th Ave., Hopewell, Va. Burial will be in Bermuda Memorial
Park, Chester, Va.
She is survived by two sons, Lacey Hall Jr. and Denard Hall; three
daughters, Nancey Grose, Lenora Boss and Clara Coogle; one brother, James
Roy Carawan; two sisters, Metta Rich and Verna Floyd; nine grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Nelsen Funeral
Home, 214 N. 6th Ave., Hopewell, Va.
