Obituary of Franklin Newman Preston ~ 2005

ORIENTAL - Franklin Newman Preston, 71, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at 
Craven Regional Medical Center.  
He moved to Oriental in 2004 from Hudson, N.Y., where he lived for three 
years. Before that he lived 30 years in Putnam Valley, N.Y.  
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Grove 
Presbyterian Church, Aberdeen, Md., with the Rev. Ron VanSchenkhoff 
officiating.  Burial will be at Baker Cemetery, Aberdeen, Md.  
He is survived by his widow, Adele Niec Preston of the home; one son, Jon 
Preston of Concord, N.H.; and one sister, Betty Duff of Aberdeen, Md.  
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Tarring-Cargo 
Funeral Home, Aberdeen, Md.
