Obituary of George Robert Weeks ~ 2010

MERRITT - George Robert Weeks, 75, of Merritt, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010,
at CarolinaEast Medical Center.  
He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was also a member of Florence/Whortsonville Fire Department, Caring 
Carpenters, Woodmen of the World and African Drummers of Oriental. 
He volunteered with Habitat for Humanity helping build houses.  
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Weeks; three daughters, Virginia 
Harper, Hope King and Georgine Sarda all of Merritt; and four grandchildren.  
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 13 at St. 
Thomas Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jeremiah Day officiating.  
The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Friday night, at the 
Florence/Whortonsville VFD.
