George David Williamson, Jr., 71, a retired tugboat captain and mate, died 
July 12, 1992, in a Norfolk hospital.  
Mr. Williamson was born in Lowland, N.C., where he was a member of Lowland 
Church of Christ. He had retired from Curtis Bay Towing.  
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Lupton Williamson; two daughters, 
Roxana W. Lewis of Suffolk and and Cecilia M. Williamson of Williamsburg; 
a son, George D. Williamson, III of Suffolk; two sisters, Hazel Tyndall of 
New Bern, N.C., and Lola Boyer of Eckley, Colo.; and five grandchildren.  
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, 
South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Henry V. Napier. Burial will 
be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Friends may join the family 
from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home and other times at 121 Withers 
St., Suffolk. Memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association, 21021
