Obituary of Gladys Ray Jones ~ 2008

Gladys Ray Jones of New Haven, Conn., died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at New 
Haven Health Care.  
She was a native of Oriental and had resided in New Bern for more than 40 
years.  The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2008, at Curvin 
Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven, Conn. Burial will be at 
10 a.m. Saturday in Beaver Bell Memorial Cemetery.  
She is survived by two sons, Maurice Armond and Calvin Jones of New Haven; 
one daughter, Maxine Sandra Dixon of New Haven.; four brothers, William 
Jones and Robert Jones of Oriental, Russell Jones of Reelsboro and James 
Earl Jones of New York; one sister, Laula Armond of New Haven; and six 
grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday 
at Curvin Council Funeral Home.
