Obituary of Hal Duffy Walker Sr ~ 2010

ALLIANCE - Hal Duffy Walker Sr., 58, of Alliance, died Friday, May 28, 
2010, at Britthaven of New Bern. 
A native of Vandemere, he served his country during the Vietnam War as a 
member of the U.S. Army and worked as a commercial fisherman.  
A private memorial service will be held at a later time.  
He is survived by two sons, Hal "Duffy" Walker Jr. and Christopher Walker, 
both of Bayboro; daughter, Deonna Walker of Chesapeake, Va.; brother, 
Jessie R. Walker of Edward; three sisters, Katie M. Stilley of Edward, 
Darnella Barber of Olympia and Brenda Turnage of Oriental; and one 
grandchild.  
Arrangements are by Oscar's Mortuary Inc.
