ORIENTAL- Helen Jenkins Hopkins, 83, of Oriental died Friday at Craven 
Regional Medical Center.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev 
Jim Oliver officiating.
Burial will be in Oriental Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Edna Johnston and Mary H Potter of Oriental;
three stepdaughters, Georgia Delamar of Charleston, SC., Delia Houtz of 
Elizabeth City and Sallie Willis of Oriental; eight grandchildren; 13 
stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 36 stepgreat-grandchildren; and
10 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Alliance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pamlico County Rescue Squad,
Bayboro, NC 28515.
