Obituary of Henry Austin Miller ~ 2007

BAYBORO - Henry Austin Miller, 83, of 729 Harper Road, passed away at his 
home Monday, January 15, 2007. 
He was a World War II Veteran and member of Bayboro Baptist Church. 
He retired from the N.C. Department of Agriculture.   
He was predeceased by his daughter, Carolyn Ruth Miller.  
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Rowena Willis Miller; two 
sons, retired Pamlico County Sheriff, Danny Miller and his wife, Becky of 
Bayboro, and Jerry Miller and his wife, Cathy of Raleigh; five 
grandchildren, Sherry Riggs and her husband, Will of Alliance, Bryan 
Miller of Alexandria, VA, Jonathan Miller of Troy, NY, Jennifer Miller of 
Raleigh and Neal Miller of Bayboro; special friends, Foster "Babe" Watts 
and his wife, Debra; and great-granddaughter, Macy Watts.  
Visitation will be at Bryant Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, January 
17, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be at Bryant Funeral 
Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, with Rev. Scott Fitzgerald 
and Rev. Lee Toler officiating. Burial will be in the Cowell Cemetery in 
Alliance.  Flowers are welcome, but those who prefer are asked to make 
donations in Mr. Miller's memory to Pamlico County Hospice, P.O. Box 949, 
Bayboro, NC 28515.
