Obituary of Henry Arthur Tingle ~ 2005

FLORENCE, S.C. - Henry Arthur Tingle, 49, of Florence, died Thursday, 
April 14, 2005, in Carolinas Hospital System after a brief illness.
Mr. Tingle was born in Merritt, N.C., a son of the late James Arthur 
Tingle Jr. and the late Wenona Howerin Tingle. He was a member of the
 First Baptist Church, was a graduate of Frances Marion University and 
earned his master's degree in hospital administration from the Medical 
University of South Carolina. Mr. Tingle was a registered nurse and was 
formerly employed for many years by McLeod Regional Medical Center and for 
18 years by Carolinas Hospital System. He was currently employed as 
director of case management for Regency Hospital of Florence.
Mr. Tingle is survived by three sisters, Linda Tingle of Florence, Pat 
Locklear and her husband, Jerry, of Maxton, N.C., Darlene Morgan and 
husband, Gene, of Harrells, N.C.; a brother, James A. Tingle III and wife, 
Tina, of Victoria, Texas; three nieces; five nephews; and two great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 
950 48th Ave., N. Suite 101, Myrtle Beach, S.C. 28577.
The funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday in Stoudenmire-Dowling 
Funeral Home chapel in Florence.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
