Obituary of Herbert Wesley Robinson ~ 2004

Herbert Wesley Robinson, 91, recently of Savannah, GA and formerly of 
Naples, FL and New Bern, NC died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Hospice 
Savannah.  
Born in Pamlico County, North Carolina, Mr. Robinson retried as Operations 
Manager of Seashore Transportation Co. after 45 years of service. He was a 
member of the Doric Masonic Lodge No. 568, F & A.M.'s, since 1946 and a 
former member of Riverside United Methodist Church in New Bern, N.C. where 
he resided many years before moving to Naples, FL.  
Mr. Robinson is survived by two daughters, Ann Benninghoff (Bill) and 
Linda Gail Hunter (Barrett); a step-daughter, Bonnie Johnson; two step-sons, 
Tom Mills and Wendell Mills; brothers, Wesley Robinson, Lesley Robinson, 
Daniel Robinson; a sister, Love Brittle; five grandchildren, and thirteen 
great-grandchildren.  
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Pollock Best Funeral 
Home in New Bern, NC at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2004 preceded by 
visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  
Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery extension in New Bern, NC.  
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, Inc., 
P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
