Obituary of Hilton Gibbs ~ 2005

BAYBORO - Hilton Gibbs, 80, of the Mesic community died Saturday, July 23 
at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 pm at Mt. Olive 
Missionary Baptist church with the Rev. Clyde Felton, pastor, and the Rev. 
Theron Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mesic Memorial Cemetery.  
He is survived by one son, Alvin E. Gibbs of the home; two daughters, Diane
Copeland of Raleigh and Ellen Jordan of Boston, MA; one sister, Josephine
Smith of Bayboro; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends as the residence.
