BAYBORO - H.L. Rowe, 80, died Tuesday, April 12 at Craven Regional Medical 
Center. 
A funeral service was held Thursday, April 14, 11 am, at Bryant Funeral 
Home Chapel with the Rev. Owen Peele and the Rev. Robert Yates officiating. 
Burial was in Celestial Memorial Gardens in Vandemere.  
He was a member of Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Gideons, Bayboro 
Masonic Lodge #331 and worked as a dairy farmer.  
He is survived by his wife, Selma P. Rowe; two sons, Roger N. Rowe of New 
Bern and Lawrence A. Rowe of Bayboro; two daughters, Barbara R. Walker of 
Bayboro and Lori R. Tyndall of Alliance; two sisters, Trixie R. Potter of 
Alliance and Phoebe R. Barnette of New Bern; five grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren.
