FLORENCE - Services for Hubert Glenn Player, 68, of 3004 Lamb Road will be 
held at 2 p.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church, with entombment in 
Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. 
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral 
Home. Memorials may be made to the T.W.B. of Southside Baptist Church.  
Mr. Player died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1995. Born in Mesic, N.C., he was a son 
of the late James Horace and Edna Jones Player. 
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired with DuPont Corp. 
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.  
Surviving are his wife, Ramona Shealy Player; sons, Mike Player and Steve 
Player, both of Florence; daughters, Judy Hanna and Marsha Poston, both of 
Florence, and Glenda Gay of Columbia; brothers, Horace Player of Beaufort, 
N.C., and Calvin Player of Newport, N.C.; sisters, Louise Bowen of Newport 
and Peggy Paul of Newborn, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
