Elder Ida Louvine Adams Johnson, 51, resident of 850 Idalia Rd., Aurora 
died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Craven Regional Medical Center.  
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at Peedtown 
Baptist Ministries with Dr. Stewart Ham officiating. Burial will follow in 
Whitehurst Creek Cemetery.  Elder Johnson was born in Beaufort County, 
May 19, 1957, to the late Wallace Adams and Rosa Foskey Adams. She was a 
member of Peedtown Baptist Church ministries where she served on the 
ministers staff and other auxiliaries. She was employed with Britthaven of 
Washington.  Survivors are: one daughter, Sherreka Gibbs of Aurora, N.C.; 
two sons, Deshawn Adams of Aurora, Dannie Adams of Columbia, S.C.; four 
sisters, Geraldine Watkins, Reidsville, Linda Minor of Columbia, S.C., 
Vanessa Broome of the home, Betty Bonner of Greenville; three brothers, 
Kenneth Adams and Ken Adams, both of Aurora, John Adams of Blounts Creek; 
five grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandchild.  
The family will receive friends Thursday 7-8 p.m. at the chapel and other 
times at the home.
